Located at 2063 Marina Road, Murphysboro, Illinois, the Ed Bottoms Campground is situated beside beautiful Lake Kinkaid. The campsites include hook ups for electric, water and sewer, as well as many amenities. The Ed Bottom R.V. Campground was created in recognition of Edward Bottom for his dedication and service to Kinkaid Lake.
Located at 2063 Marina Road, Murphysboro, Illinois, the Glenn Seeber Campground is situated beside beautiful Lake Kinkaid. This campground is named to honor the memory of Glenn Seeber who, as a volunteer, worked for many years for the betterment of Kinkaid Lake. He worked not only above the surface of the lake, but below it as well with his diving gear. Those who use the lake as a water supply or for recreation owe him their gratitude.
The primitive campsites were dedicated in honor of Donald Brittin for his commitment to the betterment of Kinkaid Lake. Don, in conjunction with the Illinois Youth Camp in Murphysboro, Kinkaid Village, and Kinkaid Reed's Creek Conservancy District, constructed the campsites for the enjoyment of the Kinkaid Lake visitors. Don has always been involved in any activity that advanced the quality of Kinkaid Lake. These sites are available for tent camping only.
Resting on the tranquil southeast shore of Kinkaid Lake, nestled into the rolling hills of the Shawnee National Forest, Kinkaid Marina has everything you need for that enjoyable lake getaway!
