our story
Kinkaid Lake was originally constructed to provide the area’s potable drinking water. A water treatment plant and pumping station were also constructed in 1974 and modernized in 1994. Today, the water plant provides the best potable water possible to all people who depend on it.
Resting on the tranquil southeast shore of Kinkaid Lake, nestled into the rolling hills of the Shawnee National Forest, Kinkaid Marina has everything you need for that enjoyable lake getaway!
